Mark joined Maverston in March 2023 as our Head of Operations. Responsible for the general day to day running of the facility, Mark endeavours to make sure that everyone's Maverston experience is a memorable one.

Mark arrived at Maverston with over 30 years as a PGA professional. He has gained a vast wealth of knowledge throughout his career, having been responsible for a variety of roles during this time.

Timmy joined Maverston in June 2023 on completion of his (Hons) degree in Business Management at Robert Gordon University. As Trainee Clubhouse Manager, Timmy is responsible for the daily upkeep of the clubhouse, including bar work, administration and stock control.

He has played golf casually since he was young, but has just recently starting to get back into playing following his studies.
In his spare time, Timmy enjoys music and sport and has played in a brass band travelling abroad to countries such as Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.He also played for the Scotland national basketball team as a youth.

Debbie Joined Maverston in May 2022 and looks after our Competition and Membership administration as well as manning our front desk.
Debbie came to Maverston following a career working in primary schools supporting children with additional needs.

She learned to play golf in 2017 and says she wishes she'd taken it up years earlier.

Louise joined the team at Maverston in July 2023 following a career in retail. Louise's responsibilities include meet and greet players, administration, stock management and bar service.

She started playing golf in 2020 during the first COVID-19 lockdown. As you could only play in your family bubble and her husband and young daughter were both playing she decided she'd rather join them than caddy and has no regrets as she loves it!
After golfing for about a year she took on the position of “Ladies Match and handicap secretary” at her home club before joining Maverston. She enjoys meeting new people, learning new things and hopes to bring new ideas to the club.

Isla started at Maverston in June 2022 and works as a clubhouse assistant part-time while studying.

Prior to Maverston, Isla has worked at a kennels and in her spare time she loves to play rugby, which she's done for 13 years (with the scars to show).

Isla's favourite things about working at Maverston are getting to drive the buggies and speaking to all the customers.

Calum joined Maverston 15 years ago starting out as an apprentice and worked his way up to his current role.
As course manager, he is responsible for the management, maintenance, care and overall appearance of the golf course.
Outside of work, Calum started playing golf at the age of 7 years old and he has competed in motorsport for the last 5 years.

Joining the Maverston team in 2018, Callum is Deputy to the Course Manager, supporting the management and maintenance of the course.
Callum started out at Maverston as an apprentice, then gaining experience as a head Greenkeeper locally before returning to Maverston as Deputy.
Outside of work, Callum coaches for a local kids football team.

Joining the club in 2013 as Greenkeeper, Colin works within the team to maintain the course to a high standard of presentation and playability.
Outside of his role at Maverston, Colin is the president of a local hillwalking club.

Ryan joined the team as Greenkeeper in 2021, working as part of the team responsible for maintaining Maverston Golf Course to a high standard.
Outside of work, Ryan is a keen sportsman, playing golf since he was a junior and also playing football for a local junior football club.
